Event Description

Vikki Petraitis is a Bayside local and an award-winning, bestselling author and podcaster. As part of the inaugural Bayside Creatives month, we have invited Vikki to come and teach a memoir writing workshop that will give you tips on where to start and what to include.. Vikki's workshops are interactive, entertaining and enlightening.

Vikki won the inaugural Allen and Unwin Crime Fiction prize with her first fiction novel, "The Unbelieved", the result of her PhD in Creative Writing. She has written many true crime books since her first, "The Phillip Island Murders", was published 30 years ago, and her podcasts have been downloaded millions of times, showcasing her gift for storytelling. This gift, combined with years of teaching experience, will make this workshop invaluable for everyone, no matter where you are on your writing journey.
