Ingenious Insects Drawing Workshop with Sarah Allen (Ages 6-9)

Join renowned local illustrator and author Sarah Allen to learn how to draw your own ingenious insects inspired by her new book.

Sarah Allen is an illustrator and children’s author based in Melbourne, Australia. Through her colourful picture book series, Sarah introduces children to Australia's amazing wildlife. Sarah's work has been commissioned for Australia Post stamps, greeting cards, public art and murals. Sarah is an ambassador for this year’s Big Summer Read.

Please only book in for one workshop. The 2pm workshop is aimed at children aged 6-9 years old. 3.30pm workshop is aimed at children aged 9-12 years old.

Notes & Requirements

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult who remains in the library for the duration of the program. Please note that all Summer School Holiday Program events open for bookings on 9 December at 10am. This is to ensure people without digital access have an opportunity to book. These events are in high demand, so if you are no longer able to attend, please cancel the ticket online or with library staff.
