Event Concluded

Event Description

Storytimes don't usually run during school holidays but, this NAIDOC week, join us for an extra-special storytime at Sandringham with Aunty Fay Muir, a Senior Boon Wurrung and Wamba Wamba Elder, First Nations’ community leader and Koori Court Elder.

Aunty Fay is also a mentor, author and educator. Her books, including Respect, Family and Sharing, co-written with Sue Lawson and illustrated by Jasmine Seymour are part of the Magabala 'Our Place' series.

The theme of NAIDOC Week this year is Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! So let's get up, stand up and show up to help amplify indigenous voices and narrow the gap between aspiration and reality, good intent and outcome..
