Bayside Libraries are thrilled to partner with the Melbourne Writers Festival to present Sophie Cunningham in conversation with Nadia Bailey at our Sandringham branch.

Prolific author Sophie Cunningham’s This Devastating Fever has drawn praise as ‘sinuous, strange [and] utterly compelling’ (James Bradley). Join Cunningham as she chats about her dazzlingly original novel that address anxieties of the present moment and finds comfort and answers in the past.

Nadia Bailey is a Melbourne-based author, journalist and editor. She was the 2020 National Library of Australia Creative Fellow for Australian Writing and the 2019 UNESCO City of Literature Creative Resident in Kraków, Poland. She is currently working on her first novel.
