"Locked Ward" with Anne Buist, in conversation with Vikki Petraitis

Join us at Sandringham library to celebrate the release of Anne Buist's latest book, "Locked Ward", the fourth and final book in the Natalie King series, which started with "Medea's Curse", described by Jennifer Byrne as “a psychological thriller with all the ingredients” and by Adrian McKinty as "an intelligent, well-paced thriller"

Anne is an author and psychiatrist, with over 30 years clinical and research experience in perinatal psychiatry. She is the Chair of Women's Mental Health at the University of Melbourne and continues to work with Protective Services and the legal system in cases of abuse, kidnapping, infanticide and murder.

Anne Buist has also co-authored, with Graeme Simsion, the best-selling "Two Steps Forward", a journey of midlife reinvention set on the Camino de Santiago.

Local award-winning author and podcaster, Vikki Petraitis is well-known to Bayside library regulars, as our libraries have had the pleasure of hosting many of her events and writing workshops. Vikki's debut fiction novel, "The Unbelieved" was released last year to critical acclaim, winning the inaugural Allen and Unwin Crime Fiction prize.

Vikki and Anne in conversation will offer attendees incredible insight into the writing process and an opportunity to engage with two highly accomplished authors.
