"The Half Brother" Christine Keighery in conversation with Vikki Petraitis

Join us at Beaumaris library to celebrate the release of "The Half Brother", Christine Keighery's novel about loyalty, secrets and the insidious effects of narcissism and gaslighting.

Described by Vikki Wakefield as "Sinister, suspenseful and tightly written, with an ending I didn't see coming", "The Half Brother" asks, do we ever really know those we love the most?

Christine Keighery is the author of over thirty books for Children and Young Adults, including thirteen books in the popular "Go Girl" series and the award winning "Whisper". "The Half Brother" is her first novel for adults, and we are thrilled to have her in conversation with local award-winning author and podcaster, Vikki Petraitis.

Vikki is well-known to Bayside library regulars, as our libraries have had the pleasure of hosting many of her events and writing workshops. Vikki's debut fiction novel, "The Unbelieved" was released last year to critical acclaim, winning the inaugural Allen and Unwin Crime Fiction prize.

It would be criminal to miss Christine and Vikki in conversation!
