Architecture BLAST

Event Description

Join us at Brighton library for a one-off workshop where you will be inspired to create a 3D model, at a reduced scale, of your ideal room. You will only need to bring your imagination, all materials for the model will be provided. At the end, you are welcome to take photos of your creation as a keepsake.

Alexandra and Laura will guide you through your journey of understanding what you need from your space, how you can achieve that and how your environment can influence mood and wellbeing. They both have been working in the architectural field for over a decade and are very excited to share their passion with young minds.

Dr. Alexandra Florea is a Research Fellow at Deakin University. She has also tutored design studios at Deakin University. She is part of the Jost Architects team and has been working in the architectural practice since 2015.

Laura Litcanu is a founder and principal architect at Unfold Architecture since 2017. She is a sessional tutor at the University of Melbourne in both Property and Architecture subjects. Laura is a WELL Accredited Professional.

Notes & Requirements

Please note the longer running time of this event. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult who remains in the library for the duration of the program.
