Event Description
A poem for every year! Join Dr Christopher Ringrose at Brighton library to launch Virginia's autobiography, "The Myopic's Vision".
Dr Virginia Lowe has written poetry most of her shortsighted life. From these hundreds of poems, she has chosen one to represent each year.
Virginia is the popular tutor of Creative Writing at Glen Eira U3A, and has lectured English and Children’s Literature at ACU and Deaken University, and been the school librarian at Woodleigh and the inaugural children’s librarian at Moonee Valley Library. She has been married for 52 years, to John, who is also a poet. Virginia also has strong connections to the Brighton library and is part of the Brighton Poetry Group.
