Don't miss the opportunity to hear two brilliant local authors in conversation about their novels, which both explore themes of family and friendship.
Kylie Ladd is a novelist, psychologist and freelance writer. Her five previous novels include "The Way Back", which has been optioned for film. She has also co-edited and co-authored two non-fiction books, and her essays and articles have been published in The Age and Sydney Morning Herald, Griffith Review, Meanjin, O Magazine, Good Medicine, Kill Your Darlings and Reader's Digest, amongst others. Kylie holds a PhD in neuropsychology and lives in Melbourne with her husband and two children.
Kylie Orr once kicked a winning goal in a charity football match and has never let her family hear the end of it. Over the past fifteen years, her feature articles have been published in The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, Daily Life and across News Ltd. Her debut novel Someone Else's Child was awarded the Dymocks & Fiona McIntosh Commercial Fiction Masterclass scholarship. Kylie lives with her four children, just the one husband and a cat called Alfie who has surprised everyone by taking up space in her camera roll and on her reading chair.
