Event Description
It's Plastic Free July, so join us at Sandringham library to learn small and slow solutions to reduce your waste output by making informed decisions when you shop. Anna, aka The Urban Nanna, has worked in education and consulting for over two decades. She believes that positive environmental and cultural change is possible, and infinitely more attainable if we work together as a supportive global neighbourhood.
This 90-minute session includes practical visual examples of how to buy, storage and use of different household consumables, a “shopping audit” template to assist you make future decisions, and information about Bayside's local providers who offer low-waste alternatives to your shopping needs.
