Join us for a writing workshop with the author of the acclaimed "At the Foot of the Cheery Tree", Alli Parker. A copy is included in the ticket price (see requirements below). Described as a stirring story of love and hope, her debut novel was based on the incredible true story of her grandmother, Australia's first Japanese war bride and a love that changed a nation forever.

Although this was her debut novel, Alli Parker is no stranger to fiction. Alli is a Japanese-Australian author and screenwriter, with a background in script editing and script coordinating. She co-wrote episodes of crime drama series Jack Irish, romantic thriller series Secret Bridesmaids' Business and mystery telemovie series Ms Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries.

If you are unable to attend, we will either hold your copy or refund the ticket price, at our discretion. Payment must be received before the event so we can order the books.
